N2 Extreme Gelato Chinatown

N2 Extreme Gelato.
Last weekend, I decided to give it a try, I've been hearing about N2 Extreme Gelato from every possible directions of sounds. Basically, this gelato's made by fresh ingredients mixed with liquid nitrogen, thus the name 'N2'. With the only shop who has grass carpet on a paved floor, (sometimes a huge line), this shop was pretty easy to spot. Follow their tumblr here.

Never seen conical flasks and electric mixer in one place before.
The first few minutes being inside, I could hear several OOHs and AAHs made by kids or even other adults which makes me even more excited to absorb everything that's happening around me. In the display fridge, they neatly present impressive rows of conical flask filled with different flavour-gelato mixtures. They displayed all the scientific decor around the shop, from a huge tank filled with liquid nitrogen (far right, above picture), molecules hanger, to a cage filled with old clocks, glass containers (below).

2 Scoops? Pffts, you don't need it.
The price of one cup of gelato is $6. They're confident that we don't need a second scoop. I wondered why. Truth to be told, they were generous, 1 portion is more than enough to consume in one go. (and I say this very lightly, to gelato-freak-lover out there ;p).

Menu time!
This is the best side of the store, the menu! Every week they have different flavour and different drawings on the blackboard. Keep an eye on their tumblr website for the quickest update on flavours.

It's going, it's going!

Pile that gelato up!

We ordered (L to R)  Cigar Smoked Hainanese coffee, buttered popcorn, and PB+J.
This was the creamiest, freshest gelato I have ever tasted to date! I AM coming back again to try every single available flavour. Buttered popcorn has actual popcorn pieces on them!

Bad side, this gelato melts pretty quick, so try not to hold it tightly with your hand, or stand directly under the sun (obviously!).
Like em on Facebook.

So, give em a try, I'm sure you won't regret it!

Until next time,

Tania xx

Topshop Sydney Opens!

Yep, you read it right.

Finally, 4 October 2012,  Topshop opens one of its well known shop in Sydney after they open their Melbourne branch back in December 2011. The building lays in the corner of George st and Market St, Sydney.
A couple of my friends were too excited, they camped outside since 6 o'clock in the morning, partly because they want to score $100 gift card for the first 20 people. They did.

Arrived at 8 o'clock, the line was crazy! The security had to divert three quarters of the line to a lane way because we blocked the other stores next to topshop. Hassle!

After waiting for 1 hour, we were allowed to come in approximately 10 mins after the opening time (quick enough).
Sydney branch has 2 entrance, from George st and one from QVB underground. They have 4 levels with Topman on the top level and the other 3 for Topshop.
Level 1: Topman - Footwear, denim, and suits.
Level 0: Topshop - George St entrance, basics and other fashion.
Level -1: Topshop - Accessories, make up, lingerie, and fashion.
Level -2: Topshop - Shoes and personal shopper.

As a socks lover, I call this 'Heaven'.

Mannequins near the QVB entrance.

Accessories anyone?
Bright yellow Paint, who is not happy being inside?
Glad to see they still have to wait in line and we did our shopping. Yay!
So that is it! A quick show and tell.

Until next time,
